Back to the daily grind after a week of vacation.

Woke up at 3 a.m.

Drove to work in dense fog.

Pull tires and load trucks.

Got a few Christmas presents from my company.

They called me Christmas eve to inform me that I was getting a raise.

This morning I found out they bought me a generator to use when I go racing.

On the coast for a memorial service today for one of my uncles who passed away in October.

He was 82 and the past few years had been rough health-wise. He was fighting lymphoma when he died.

**** cancer.

He retired from the Army as a Major after some tours of Vietnam and was later stationed in Germany for most of his career. My cousins grew up as much in Germany as they did in the States.

He was a very good man and when I visited him before he passed he told me he was ready to go and not scared or worried at all.

Had dinner with an old work friend last night. Food was great and the conversation was greater.

Made excellent time on the trip down and visited three different Buc-ee's locations yesterday!

-Just loaded up and headed home from the Gaylord Texan.
-Ice tubing, Ice! Exhibit and an Ice Soleil show.
-Overall a great 4 nights but now gotta get home and get some work done.
