  • Been MIA lately - just been really busy.
  • Got back last night from Louisiana from a funeral (but it was a good one - great woman who lived 91 years).
  • 8:45 gym class done.
  • Headed to Brenham for softball showcase.
  • Currently quoting trips.
  • Should be great weather today.


On a side note, on Thursday we had been playing at the casino. I should have walked away long before I did. But alas, about to head back up to the hotel room and I put a $100 in a nickel machine. Was just gonna do a few spins and call it done.

I hit spin. IT BET $33. It was on max bet. I about died lol. It immediately went to the bonus and I won $660. So that was exciting.

It's snowing, which really puts a damper on my highly anticipated plan to work in the yard today after removing a yard full of fallen sugar maple leaves from yesterday.

Picked up tacos for the boy and me. Wife went to Houston

What part of Utah are you in? I was in south Jordan this week for work and enjoyed it. First time to Utah for me.

Soups are good eats and usually very easy to make, especially if you have a slow cooker. I'm sure if you have any soups in mind that you like some of us here or on the Food Board would be happy to share any recipes.

lol.

I'm actually smoking pork ribs before the game. Teaching my daughter the art of slow cooking, wrapping, oak smoke, and how the right sop makes them good.

But I have been craving my Irish Stew and maybe some red beans/rice (I'm still a Gulf Coast kid) when it cools off.
