Back in 1981 they gave us cardboard mattresses in Aston similar to the Olympic Village of today.

A roomate and I went to a hotel (the one just north of University Tower) that was changing out their furniture and picked out the least stained mattresses, at one point. That was the "newest" mattress I had in college.

Gumby mattresses from the corps dorm. Put a LOT of dirty miles on those damn things.

How far do yall deliver

I had a brand new mattress once but my Uncle Wayne took a drunken dump on it the very first night I had it home. It was a birthday present from my Grandma and all of my friends were there for my birthday party and they all laughed at me about it. I had a really hard time ever enjoying my "new" mattress after that. My parents made me keep it though because it was a gift from Nana, but it was **** stained, and that stain served as a constant reminder of the humiliation of the whole evening. Plus my girlfriend at the time refused to ever make love on it for obvious reasons, so my mattress actually kept me from getting laid. As soon as I graduated I threw it away and bought a sleeping bag.
