The first few seasons were aight.

It got a little crazy after that so I stopped watching.

Never knew you had to kill one person per week to keep a Montana ranch in business.

I lived in Billings, Montana for almost three years. It is true that murders and other crimes happen in Montana like anywhere else, but that show is very far from reality.

The city of Billings recorded 6 murders during all of 2021. This is still far less violent than Yellowstone would have you believe.
