I want to be at the other one. Because your scenario turns Heaven into Hell if I'm listening to these questions every day for eternity.

In the first scenario, you are in heaven " for eternity" therefore, the button is a decoy and won't actually send you anywhere.

Eternity unless you get unlucky by the button sending you to hell. If you never get unlucky, it's eternity.

Similarly (another way of saying the same thing), regardless of where you started out, eventually, you'd get transferred and that would be your new and permanent eternity.

I can do simple math. I'd take Hell. If you're going for eternity, then even at 1 in a trillion, your number will come up infinite times. Suffer and wait for a bit, and eventually I'm in paradise forever.

I mean, if you got it on the trillionth try, thats 2,739,726,027 years... which is a lot of years...but still less than eternity

Coincidentally, yesterday was talking with one of my sons about them. Saw Black Sabbath in Seattle in 1980, the first tour with DIO (as part of the Black and Blue Tour (Blue Oyster Cult).

Took the twin boys to 2008 "Heaven and Hell" concert at Glen Helen... and subsequent DIO shows.

Fun fact: 1994... a couple of weeks after seeing DIO at Under the Rails in Seattle... found a kitten on the BUSY corner of 56th and Pacific Avenue in Tacoma. Family and I were driving home from shopping, and saw a lonely kitten on the corner. I pulled over... grabbed the kitten... took him home. For the next 19 years OID (Oh-id) was part of the family. Anyhow...

Miss that cat.

It's not luck. Its only a matter of time until you end up switching places. After at least a trillion days you'd wish you picked hell initially because now there are many more trillion days left that you have to spend there because the button in Heaven sent you there.

How come if I refuse to push the button in heaven I go to hell, but if I refuse to push the button in hell I don't go to heaven?

If you want, you can refuse to push the button in hell, and you'll have to wait until the next day for another opportunity to push the button. The reason you would go to hell for refusing to push the button is heaven is for trying to circumvent the system to your benefit.
