I will never go to Santa's wonderland … even if there's a fire.

That place is a land of nightmares.

The last time I went to Santa's Wonderland, I was in high school. I took my girlfriend (now wife), and paid $10 to drive my own car through.

My how times have changed.

How about you give me half the cost of the tickets, we'll go out back, I'll kick you in the balls, and you'll still be better off.

That'd be a lot more ominous if you were a firefighter.

It is expensive but my kids loved it when they were the correct age.

Similar to me until I took my girlfriend and her kid last year. My how times have changed indeed.

That said we had a blast. There's so much to do...and contrary to the tired narrative you can do it on a budget so long as you don't eat and drink everything you see and you limit the kid(s) to certain things.

Also the Santa's Town allowed me to knock out Christmas shopping for 3 women in my family who make it damn near impossible to shop for since every 'regular' item they say they want they never, ever end up using.

Probably won't go this year unless we find a night next week, but it's a great experience and a major benefit to this area.

Congratulations on coming back to Aggieland to sit in hours of traffic to bend over and get price gouged for the fair exchange of hearing your nieces and nephews giggle for a couple of minutes before they're tired and want their iPad or switch and the heat in the car.

If you need tickets, I would assume they sell them online. Good luck and merry Christmas! Cheap *******.

Hey old friend. Glad to see you still have this handle! Would love to catch up with you when you're in town.
