How to play

Find the secret word. You have unlimited guesses.

Start typing in words and the closer you get to it the smaller the numbers are. Basically "getting hotter, getting colder".

There seems to be little logic in getting from one guess to something closer.

For example I had a guess of violin around 1400. Cello was just a bit worse.

The word ended up being silk.

It's pretty dumb because even though it's AI how it sees words being related feels subjective and random.

My first good word was Orange, then Organic. I was on pearl for a long time, fancy, fine, luxury (thought it was a gem or jewelry). Thought pearl and oyster, so I tried wool (sheep), then linen and cotton then boom silk.

I think it does steer you to the correct word but when you're way off...it does seem to be random.

I got yesterday's in 8. today it took my 46 guesses!

37 today. Took me like 65 or 70 yesterday. I'm not very good at this.

It's basically the game "You're hot or you're cold". Once you get into the top 20 they should be words or hints to help you start narrowing your choices.

I don't have the answer to today's puzzle yet but I someone need to help me understand how, in the name of all that is good and wholesome on God's green earth is waffle related to these other clues I was working through! I was stumped at well and asked for a tip. stupid thing gives me waffle? WTF?

I went back to do the waffle one yall spoke about. I can't get it, and I was given the clue waffle by this thread.

EDIT: finally got it

I had some good starts this morning...animal and zoo were high

Holy crap. I'm horrible at this. Took me 117 guesses to get yesterdays, game 333. Gave up last night. Woke up in the middle of the night and got in 4 guesses.

That took me 144. Got today's in 9.

Yikes. 59 guesses, with 14 being green. Just couldn't connect the dots for some reason

Got it in 34 guesses today.
