If so, did you use Balfour or a third party? I don't really want to mail my ring off and wait for weeks on end, but I also don't necessarily want to void my warranty.

Yes, third party jeweler. You have to look very hard to tell. Then I lost a bunch of weight a few years later and now it's a big loose.
I worked for Balfour for a while. Send it to the Circle S Drive address on the warranty tab of the website.

I resized thru Balfour but drove that sh*t up to the association in CS to physically put it in someone's hand to ship accordingly (plus was looking for an excuse for a chugger & burger at the chicken)
Turnaround was quick - mailed to doorstep with signature required when done

I had mine done a couple months ago. Balfour said 4-6 weeks but it was 2 weeks. I went too big though. Apparently Aggie rings run almost a 1/4 size too big to account for the width

I had to have mine remade about 10 years ago because it needed to be resized too much. Gone through some major weight fluctuations.

Yes. Had it done in Houston by IW Marks. They did a nice job plus they cleaned it so well it looked better than brand new.

Quick fix if ring is loose due to weight loss or changes in joint: Metal flexible ring spacer. Got mine at Christy's Jewelers at Post Oak Mall in College Station. Cost installed was under $15.
I had Shaw's in Houston resize mine, but any quality jeweler could do the job.

Lost weight and had mine sized down a few years ago. If you go down more than 2 sizes they just make you a new ring and there is no option to have them just resize the old one.

I added a couple of "speed bumps" on the inside by a local jeweler when I dropped a few pounds. Works well.

So the greatest civilization is one where all citizens are equally armed and can only be persuaded, never forced. It removes force from the equation... and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act.
Always amused about the "warranty" issue of getting your ring resized. What exactly do we need a warranty for? Expecting a belt to break or the transmission to go bad?

To get my size and I am between sizes. I was thinking of putting my exact size (10.75), but now am wondering if I should do a 10.5.
