Just to show my age, I was thinking this was the one that was on University.

At its peak there were 265 Kettle locations in the US. With this closure there appear to be three.

Yep. Tons of memories. handful of years ago i was doing jury duty and was seated next to the owner. During breaks we shot the ****, told him how much his restaurant meant to me at a certain time in my life. At the end of the day he pulled about 20 "free meal" coupons from his wallet and gave them to me.

Good guy. Glad the Bryan location has another 5 years minimum.

Yeah, and cheap. Big salad with meat and an iced tea is like $7. All drive thru too. Very efficient

What are the Saturday morning widowers going to do?

What about the elderly couple who come in? She's in a wheelchair and he patiently walks her in and then helps her to eat her breakfast taco?

There are some really good people who eat breakfast at the Kettle. I will miss them and the servers. Rachel waited on us just last week.
