There isn't a thread I can find in search that provides the info I'm hoping for. I'm looking for anyone who is willing to provide a pic of a small (ladies) Aggie ring w either a 5pt (bigger of the two without its own shield) or 10pt (bigger w white gold shield setting) diamond.

When I finish up my phd in a year I want to get one added but can't decide between the two sizes. Was hoping someone could show theirs as a reference.

Ps. Not interested in debating the merits of adding a diamond

Nothing wrong with adding a diamond for a PHD. I like the 3 point better personally, but it is your ring.
The 10 is just gaudy.
We really need a pic to be able to judge the proper size.

Not what you asked for, but here is one with the 3 point Diamond so you don't lose the shield and stars. I think losing the stars is a mistake.

Anyone familiar with a sweetheart's Aggie ring? Before 1963, Ags could buy their wives a ladies' version of the Aggie ring. It looks identical to the current ladies ring except for the school name (A&M College of Texas).

Mom still has hers and won't part with it for any reason.
