most underrated breakfast food ever? How do you like yours?



I think Jewish cuisine in general is underrated. Definitely have to be in the mood for it though. Lox has such a unique clash of flavors

I like my lox just like you pictured it but also great with butter and onion on dark rye toast.

Chopped liver made the right way with lots of schmaltz is delish. You just ignore your arteries screaming and it goes down easy.

Lox is actually extremely easy to make. My kids loved the store bought to I decided to make it. Good stuff when salmon is on sale.

We didn't have much Jewish food in Texas back in the day. Right after college, I went to Miami on a business trip. Had lox and bagel for breakfast and thought I'd died and gone to heaven.

How do I take mine? To the dog bowl.

Then I load up on some biscuits and sausage gravy or a chorizo, bean, and cheese taco.

If forced to have seafood for breakfast, it'll be shrimp and cheese grits.
