Saw this on Twitter, #44 is fullback Hunter Luepke

While looking up his class year, I noticed this line on his bio:

Quote:

PERSONAL: Majoring in finance...Son of Jon and Maria Luepke and Jenn Luepke...Has a brother, Carter, and a sister, Emma.
I have never seen two mothers listed for a player before. Even if it is a divorce and a stepmother situation, they usually name the father and then mother's maiden name. Anyone familiar with this format? Is this a possible surrogate situation?

Dad remarried and mom didn't change her name back after the divorce, which is common when there are kids.

My hometown paper does a bio for every graduating senior every year and this reads just like a bunch of them.

I've read so many bios for our players and you can tell when the parents were divorced and dad re-married, the mother is always using the maiden name.

Dad was a man ***** and banged multiple chicks. They couldn't tell who the mother was, so they just listed both to be sure they included the right one.

The easy way to tell is to cut the kid in half for each woman. See which one protests.

A lot of women keep their married name if there are young kids. It makes it infinitely easier when doing anything with your kid that requires your ID (prescriptions, doctors, school, etc.). Same last name as kids is less hassle.
