Same here, but I don't think real houses made out of blue marble and yellow glass blocks are structurally sound.

Real answer- there are old threads on the Real Estate Board and Aggieland board. Or just ask there. Most people there aren't ass hats.

It will also depend on your price range, if you want a fully customized home, or a builder home with some customizable aspects.

There have been quite a few UBH homes being built near me, as well as Tilson. A friend is currently using Happy Homes. Keys & Walsh are supposed to be really good, if you can afford them.

I'm getting a home built right now and I narrowed it down to

Blue Stone
Magruder
RNL
Raven

From a list of about 10 total. My first choice was Blue Stone because I've known people who built with them and loved their finished product, and I've walked several of their homes. Gorgeous and refined. For reasons that are too complicated to note on a message board though we did not go with them but went with one of the other 3. Don't want to say who we chose but it's been a good experience so far and I feel like any of those 4 will do a great job.

Did an internship for Jefferson Christian Homes circa 2005. Great family-oriented company to work for at the time. Might be worth it to look them up. He's also an Ag.
