I'm trying to work out of my house and the leaf blower is so damn loud INSIDE the house with the windows closed It's hard to have a phone call. I can't imagine how loud it is outside. These landscape guys are going to all be deaf.

Yeah, I'm not sure why it takes 18 months and a tax stamp to get a suppressor for my leaf blower.Human Being said:

My leaf blower is equally loud whether I use it inside or outside. Usually use it outside though, so that I don't smoke up the house
It's the full backpack ones the workers use. I admit it's quite the pain in the ass when it takes an hour or so around here for them to do a yard of leaves. But it's better than listening to women talk about inane things in an office setting.

There is your problem, tell them to run the leaf blower outside. It won't be as loud to you and they will probably find more leaves to blow.

In a bow to Frugal Moms/Dads/ Cheapskate grandpas, we use the reverse air flow on a Shop Vac to blow leaves. It is not quiet, but it is cheaper than buying a largely unnecessary device.
