I've been watching this Netflix show about Australians trying to learn how to date. It's a pretty good show, lots of good dating tips. Anyone else been watching this?

Hoping for the best for the participants, but the only reality tv worth watching is sports.

I don't know if you ever watched Steve Irwin or have seen Crocodile Dundee, but Australians tend to be pretty awkward and weird. So a lot of people on this show struggle with dating, but then they go on dates with other people on the Australian spectrum and kind of realize that other Australians are just as strange as them.

I spent a month in Australia in high school. I am aware there are weirdos.

But without ever having heard of this show and only reading your post, it seems Australians I general don't know how to date and are all on the spectrum

Yes, Australians tend to be on the Australian spectrum. Just watch the show.

So I am not sure if y'all are being intentionally sarcastic here or not but do you not realize what on the spectrum is?

I'm not trying to be one of those people who spoils the fun or whatever but all of these people on this show have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder meaning they are autistic. This is why they do not have typical social skills and need the help they need. The show just happened to be filmed in Australia so they are Australian. There is no such thing as Australian Spectrum.

I'd encourage you to educate yourself before talking down to others. Much like toilet bowl water going the opposite direction, people's blood circulates in reverse in the southern hemisphere, getting worse the further south you go. These Australians are trying their best!

Hmm, didn't mean to start an argument about Australians, I really do think they are remarkable people and maybe they aren't exactly like you and me, but I wouldn't even consider being Australian a disability, like one of the characters on the show said, it is an asset in many ways. I just hope some of you with preconceived notions about Australians will watch the show and see for yourself.

I've worked with a lot of Aussies over the years and never noticed that they were any weirder on average than any of us. Love my friends from down under. Weird theory.

This is the GB, everything is intentionally sarcastic and borderline (who are we kidding, way over the line) inappropriate!
