I had a little bird do the same thing to me. I didn't know why it was attacking me at first and I tried to quickly move out of its way to dodge it and I strained some muscle in my back. Don't get old.

Had a little bird attack me on a riding mower.. I guess I was close to nest but never saw it.
I would just swat it away with my hat everytime she came near me
