Currently getting beat up with my AT&T plan with cost.

So, knowing how prudent and resourceful Aggies are, I am looking for a new carrier with good service for 2 smartphones, 2 IPads.

What plan are u using for nation wide coverage or at least +90% coverage?

Cricket is on the AT&T network for the price of grocery store phone plan. I pay $50/month for unlimited data. Can be as cheap as $20/mo I think.

Made the switch from at&t to TMobile a couple of months ago. Better coverage, much cheaper price. Paying $45/line. Never looking back.

we have five lines on Cricket for $100. I think that is a grandfathered plan. We each have 5GB of data, not shared (currently 15GB due to COVID-19).

The unlimited plan for all five would be $125 so still not bad.

edit: adding we don't want unlimited because it is teaching the kids rationing and we enjoy their frustration when they run out of data.

cricket here as well. unlimited data, but they throttle speed after some point is reached. I don't stream much video, so not really an issue for us. 4 lines, $100. Better coverage than I used to get with Sprint.

T-mobile offers 50% of if you ever served in the military. I pay $112 per month for 4 lines unlimited everything. $10 for each add'l line.

On Verizon, and for my wife and me it's $102 for unlimited data on 2 iPhones. That's after taxes as well.

i use this for my kids. works great. havent had one issue.

if work didnt pay for mine, I'd use Mint also.

Mint is the correct answer. And if you're like me and are on wifi most of the time anyway, 3GB should be more than enough for you.

I usually get the 3GB 6-month plan, which comes out to $20/mo. (Paid upfront.) You'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal anywhere.

There are no overage charges. They just cut your speed after the GB plan you pay for. We use this for our business tablets and cell phones. Works perfectly!

T-Mobile but coverage still isn't spectacular in CS if that's where you are. Ask any questions. I've worked there almost 5 years now.

Don't call in to switch.
If you go to a store first thing ask if they are a corporate store. If they say anything other than "yes" turn around and walk out.

This. I've been with at&t since I've had a phone. I pay 100+ for my 1 phone. Tequila J has a cool phone and we pay $55 with taxes for basically the same plan. I know. I should switch. But I dont want to lose my number. I've had the same one since I was 11.

You can port numbers now - we tried out T-Mobile 2-3 years ago and we ported our #'s from AT&T to T-Mobile, and then back from T-Mobile to AT&T.

Seriously? 2 lines with unlimited data for $102! I'm with Verizon, but I'm paying $234.62/mo for 2 lines with unlimited data, 2 iPads and the device protection bs for $45.
