Welches Grape Jam. Not jelly. Jelly is just too sweet slimey and soupy and makes the bread soggy. Jam has a fuller flavor and better consistency.

Smooth peanut butter Jif or Peter Pan.

Welches grape jelly.

PB both sides of bread, then jelly.

Then toss 1/2 Tbsp butter into skillet turn it up high and throw in sandwhich. Sear/toast for 4 mins then flip with another 1/2 Tbsp butter for the other side.

Oh, natural peanut butter (Laura Scudder's or similar) and replace the jelly with some bacon and a slice of smoked gouda on sourdough, toasted/fried in a skillet with butter.

It sounds kinda ****ed up, but it's really, really good.

When I make a PB&J, the J is irrelevant because I usually just end up getting a huge blob of PB and put it in a bowl and eat it plain.
