I think the point was that I lived in MT for quite a while.
we actually never made it that far west, as it was like a 12 hour drive. Big Sky brewing is great though. Missoula is home to TONS of breweries. My general experience in MT is dont go to a steakhouse - you will be disappointed. I dont know how far in the area you want to travel, but I think Lolo Hot Springs arent too far. A lot of people say to head to the campus and walk around - its really nice. Also, there are some great bars & restaurants near campus (mini northgate?) that arent as touristy. If you want specific restaurants & recommendations, give me a price range, and i'll ask my old boss. He's always visiting Missoula for Grizz games.
