No. Although I did a lot of stupid things while at A&M, I was never this stupid. I was also friends with the late great Dirty Dausin. Watched him break a few faces back in the early 90s. Frat boy thinks he and his 'brothers' going to beat up Dirty only to find themselves getting dental work done the next day.

I knew one of his brothers. Probably the only one that didnt play college football. Big guy though.

I loved Dirty. I'd go out to his BBQ joint at least once a month and pound beers with him. Dude had some paws on him. Miss that guy.

But I was careful to pick out the punters and kickers when they were separated from the pack. Try to catch them in the library or leaving Dudley's.

I was standing on a crowded balcony at a party when a D-lineman who should probably remain nameless caved a guys face in. It was chaos, impressive and horrifying at the same time.

I never made it all the way up to punters and kickers, but I took out many a female ping pong player just for looking at me the wrong way.

No, but when I was a TA for chemistry lab, I had a football player that never showed up a single time and never turned in a single thing. I gave him a zero and the lab component of his entire chemistry grade was something like 25-30% which would have failed him. I was instructed to give him enough points to pass although he did nothing. I refused and told them they could do it themselves but I wouldn't sign off on it.

I think I was at that party and may have banged one of the hostesses after that event cleared the crowds out.

watched yemi babalola tear some dude to shreds at a party. it was over nothing too. mistaken identity. jorrie adams was looking on just laughing his ass off.

Had a senior in the dorm when I was a freshman that was known to be a real d***. Heading to class one Friday morning I caught him coming out of his room all bloody and swollen. I'm not sure who it was but he mouthed off to the wrong football player.

No, I just don't think lazy POS should get a free ride. I'm an avid Aggie Football fan and have no idea who this kid even was. So ****ty student and ****ty athlete from the looks of things.

Nah, was when I was almost done with my BS in chemistry at the time. Still taught for 5 more years as I got my PhD in chemistry though.

I did.

Player went to a different school. Think it was Sam or SFA, or maybe Southwest Texas. Didn't end well for me. Thankfully I was too drunk to feel it at the time. Next morning though...ugh.

It didn't amount to a fist fight. I worked at the Chicken in 1981-82. A 3rd-string linebacker who I had met a party but didn't remember me got drunk and decided he wanted one of the neon beer signs. He was in the process of pulling it off the wall when I confronted him and told him I couldn't let him take it, that Don would have my ass if I let that happen. Of course he wanted to fight about it. He threw the first punch and missed badly. I contained him and put him in a choke hold and put him firmly against a wall before taking him to the floor. A couple of other workers and some customers helped me get him under control. I offered to let him leave or call the police...he chose wisely.

No but helped break up a fight at Harry's one night that included a couple of back up linemen. It was in the summer so Harry's had their B-team bouncers working. I was standing by the bottom bar taking to Dave the bartender when the ruckus started.

Dave waved the bouncers over to stop it but they were scared. I looked at Dave and asked if he wanted help. He said yeah go ahead since they aren't. I simply walked up behind the biggest one and caught his arm as he drew back to punch some frat daddy. Since I was almost as big as he was, he stopped and started to square up on me. I said simply "If you walk now, they won't call the cops." He relaxed and I bought him a drink. The frat daddy got carried out and arrested. Mysteriously, Dave wiped off my bar tab that night. It was good know folks back in the day.

I was in school during the Fran ear. Remind me again what was the benefit? Plus I never agreed to any kind of agreement. My money went to the school and in return they provided me with a quality engineering program. Failed on their end with football.

Well, you weren't really a part of the agreement since you weren't funding football with your payments to the school.

These guys get special treatment from the day they are admitted to a school they wouldn't otherwise qualify to attend. So I don't really get into hand-wringing about what happens from there.

We get it already. You suck at taking orders and you put your personal feelings ahead of the 100,000 people that go to football game to watch us WIN. You clearly do not know what it means to work at a football school. I hope you ended up at Rice or MIT where your morals were more in line with the direction of or lack of football programs.
