Tillamook old fashioned vanilla is the best vanilla ice cream available.

I thought those *****s made cheese.

Just had this one in our house for the first time last week. Almost unreal mouthfeel. Muy bueno.

I like Blue Bell and I don't turn my nose up at Blue Bell, but Tillamook blows Blue Bell out of the water. So good!

I switched to the goldenbrook ice cream during the great listeria crisis and haven't switched back. It is superior.

Where do you people even get Tillamook ice cream?

They do that too. Their sharp cheddar is amazing, but so is their ice cream. Their vanilla has a ton more flavor than Blue Bell.

I love Blue Bell though. It's great for feeding kids at parties.

I was all excited when I moved to Denver and have ready access to both Tillamook and Blue Bell. Tillamook is ****ing bull***** The ice cream is good, but any of the other ingredients mostly exist in your dreams. Chocolate chip cookie dough? You're better off licking the picture of cookie dough on the outside than finding it in the ice cream.

Tillamook is easily an order of magnitude better than Blue Bell.

Back when Blue Bell was really a little old creamery out in the middle of nowhere, it was good stuff. However, it went to their head, and as usual with companies that experience rapid growth, the level of quality soon became inversely proportional to the level of production. And of course, once the quality goes, it never really comes back.

So quit being sheeple, and recognize that yes, other companies can (and do) make a better product, even if they are a bunch of gott damn yankees (and this coming from a fifth generation Texan).

It's actually no longer made in Tillamook any more. I believe they ship their dairy products to their production facility near Portland. The Tillamook factory is getting to be just a tourist attraction. They still make great cheese and ice cream there but not enough to keep obese Texans at their optimal weight.

I wonder why you can buy Tillamook in Texas but you can't buy Blue Bell in Oregon...
