A 17x17x17 would take about a week to solve if it doesn't fall apart first, but anything bigger than a 5x5x5 is trivial and adds nothing but repetition to the solution.

A 6x6x6 does bring a slightly new challenge, but it's nothing new. It just combines slicing the center cublet mass of the 5x5x5 with the non-static centers of the 4x4x4. If you can solve those two everything larger is just a time waster.


...but then there's the X-cube.

I freaking love my x cube. I'm down to about 8 minutes to solve. The one that's kicking my ass right now is the ghost cube.

2x2 is probably a little trickier than a standard 3x3 since with the 3x3 you can look at the center colors to remind you what sides are supposed to be opposites. With a 2x2 you have to know the color order from memory or reference a picture of a correctly solved one.

A 2x2 is much easier than a 3x3. You eliminate an entire layer and the algorithms used to solve it can be used in rhe last three steps of the 3x3.

I used to be able to do a 3x3 but I've forgotten all the algorithms.

-some other random twisting puzzles

Just think how long it would take you to peel all those stickers and rearrange them.

These things have always just pissed me off! Stupid cubes! Never could solve them.....never will!
