Well, my Weimaraner came up 6th on my list, right behind a Rhodesian Ridgeback, which is what we would have gotten if we couldn't find a Weimaraner we liked.

I took it and the top three it came up with are Boxer, GSP, and a dalmation. Those are the three kinds of dogs I'd want the most (although less with the Dalmation because from what I understand, they aren't too inteligent.)

I had a GSP when I was in college that was pretty much the best dog in the entire world.

Rhodesian Ridgeback

Big, ideal guard dog, needs obedience training

Boxer
Boisterous, intelligent, devoted ideal family pet

I had a Dalmation when I was a kid and hated it. I want a Rott or a Boxer, real bad.

My roommate's girlfriend in college was from a family of vets. They had several Ridgebacks and swore that they were the best dogs in the entire world.
