When Japanese sex robots start making it through US customs easier, I expect perennially sh*tty relationship behavior to make a steep decline. No one is going to suffer with someone they sort of loathe just because they get to bang them... not when there's a viable alternative that comes without baggage or manipulation.

That plus the accompanying de-humanization of a reliable and cost-effective sex industry is going to improve relationships plus vastly reduce violent crime at the same time.

I propose that the exact opposite will occur.

Relationships will be harmed because of the de-humanization of sex.

There will of course be anecdotal evidence in support of both sides, but I predict that the further commodification of sex will have a net negative impact on society and human relationships.
