I did this about a year ago and had a few takers, so thought I'd throw it out there:

Sign up using my code and get a start-up bonus after a certain amount of rides given (can't remember the minimum, but it's not many). Really easy to get approved and it's a pretty fun way to make money.

Referral code is: e3zoj

Let me know if you have any preguntas

I think $50. Depends on what kind of promotion they're running at the time.

Would this allow me to pass the background check this time. Last time they didn't like my DUI, assault and battery, armed robbery, child endangerment, drug possession, and possession of a firearm by a felon. But I did convert to Islam so that should help - right?

Can I quit driving in a year to live on a sailboat?

I am a middle aged lesbian with two children. In Texas, the GOP would love to claim I am an unfit parent and take my children.

Response when pressed for proof:
I actually have 6 links, and was getting super pissed the more info I looked up...So, look it up yourself, I am not going to fight about something I know to be true, to a person who would just as soon see me in prison or dead.

A friend of mine had a stroke just after I had mine five years ago, and he's still not able to drive. So he relies a lot on public transportation, Uber sand taxi cabs. He lives in a part of Boston where most of the Uber drivers are college students. I asked him which he finds more reliable: Uber or cabs. He said that for most cab drivers, it's the the best job they will ever have, and for most Uber drivers, it's the worst job they will ever have. So, for different reasons, they are equally reliable/unreliable. But Uber is cheaper.

For what it's worth, I have never had somebody throw up in my vehicle. Or be rude. Or point a gun at my head.

Definitely wouldn't want to do it fulltime but it's a nice side hustle that you can do whenever you want.

You addressed each point except the bit about them fingering each other, so I'm assuming that is in fact a regular thing.

I appreciate what you are doing. After I broke my femur, I thought I would be stuck at home.

However...I use Lyft.

For what it's worth, I don't see any value in driving for Uber.

If someone throws up in the backseat of an Uber, doesn't the rider foot the bill? Something like a $250 "cleaning fee"? I don't know if that's true or just an urban legend at this point.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

If I was still in high school and just making money to piss off with I'd drive for uber. But only to transfer illegals from one job to another. I'd be the contractors middle man so they wouldn't have to pick them up. I'd have a flat bed or horse trailer. Name it UberPincheCabron

You could lose your awesomely upwardly mobile job as an Uber driver if you get caught with one as they prohibit both drivers and riders from carrying. But I would be carrying.

This is true. I had a knife that I'd stick in the pocket in the front of the driver seat. Made me feel a tiny bit better.
