Has no one seen Stranger Things? He's totally stuck in the other dimension. Someone needs to go into the tree and find him and drag his butt back to the swamp!!

That is very very sad.

I used to do stuff like this a lot when I was younger, but rarely alone. It only takes a small mistake, or simply meeting up with the wrong person at the wrong time, and you're done. I hope he turns up.

That sucks. You gotta kinda know that's a possibility when you do that sort of thing though.

Here is an idea don't go to Nicaragua.

But how else are you supposed to see Lake Titicaca?

I went to Nicaragua 2 years ago. I felt safe prettt much all the time. I don't know where he disappeared but Managua isn't a safe place in certain areas. But that's like any city.

The place he was last seen at is about 1000' deep fairly close to the shore, volcanic crater lake. That whole area is very touristy with lots of grungy backpackers and a bunch of hostels, it is a fairly well known drug area. About 4-5 years ago a couple vanished there as well, were never heard from again. Normally you don't hear about a lot of violence in that area or too many security issues and for the most part Nicaragua is very safe, especially for tourists roaming around because they don't find the bad areas without trying and having some guidance.

I hope nothing happened to him, the lake is not big and you assume if he drowned he would have floated. The whole fisherman deal is a bit odd to me because there are not very many fish in that lake at all and I have been there countless times and never seen a "fisherman" in the sense of someone commercially fishing, no motor powered craft are allowed on the lake.

I hope this works out, but it doesn't sound good.

I was in Haiti, a long way away. But I frequented Apoyo lagoon very often for years when we lived there.

Does that look like a hand below him in the tree? Looks like skin color compared to bark and there is blue fabric of some sorts next to it.

Well I was like, "wtf is that in the tree...?" Then saw it, but it took a good 2 mins of staring, the monkey face by the blue cloth, is another person, probably female, in a blue shirt also walking up he inside of the tree with he head down and hair in a ponytail or something, the monkey face and eyes is her hair.
