Does anyone know what the relation is between the Wings n' Things in Houston (there is a location on Kirby/Braeswood) and the Wings n' More in College Station??- is it the same owner? I have been to the Wings n' Things in Houston and it seems to have the identical menu and taste as the Wings n' More in College Station.

There was a thread on here awhile back about that, I think at first it was supposed to be Wing's N More, but at the last minute they changed, even though the menu was the same ( I think) I'd try to search for it but the search function never works for me.

they are the same thing.....original name was Wings N Things..and when the original location in CS was first opened up it was called Wings N Things..but they changed it to Wings N More...the locations in Houston which are not owned by same owner as ones in CS remain wings n things

There is also a fairly new Wing-n-more on 290 near between Tidwell and Fairbanks. There is still a Wings-n-Things near 290 and 34th.

If I recall, Mark Dennard bought the franchise rights to open Wings N Things in CS. The owners of Wings N Things did not live up to their end of the bargain and there was a lawsuit.

Dennard was able to seperate himself, but part of the settlement was that Dennard had to change the name of his restaurant, so he went with Wings N More. I think former Astros pitcher Charley Kerfeld used own a Wings N Things in Houston, also.

A new Wing's n' More just opened in Plano. It's at the corner of Parker and Custer.

Slightly off topic but if you are outside of college station Hooters has the best wings by far.

Yuck! I hate the wings at Hooters and so do most of my friends.

There is also a new Wings-n-More on I-45 at Airtex/Richey. I started a thread a while back on that store. I had noticed a sign saying "Future home of Wings-n-More" for a while then it disappeared but no restaurant. Now looks like it is open... neat Texadelphis.

There is now one at 1-10 and 610 in the Marq E entertainment center next to Red Robin. I ate there the other night. It's pretty nice and it has more selctions of sauces on the wings than the College Station locations.

UPDATE: There is now a Wings N More on University in College Station.

I was going to post this a year or two ago when it opened, but there wasn't a thread about Wings at the time.

Hooters wings are HORRIBLE! I had a guy that used to take me to lunch there all the time. I made the mistake of getting wings one time. The actual "wing" parts still had small "down-ish" feathers on them! ****ing nasty!
