Has anyone sent their kid to the VizKids Camp at A&M? We're interested but I'd like to get some feedback on the experience before committing $1000. Thanks in advance!

It's the Department of Visualization in the College of Architecture.

I've heard good things and been wanting to send my kid for several years but it always conflicts with band camp.

Thanks, tailgate. I'd love to send her & I think she'd love it. Gotta get my little 4th gen Ag interested somehow!

We're sending our son for the 4th year in a row. He's pretty much a loner, but he gets a lot out of the camp. Better hurry! It fills up fast. I think we signed the boy up in December.....

YAP cap used to have a group that did viz lab.

Did that spin off into it's own camp?

They haven't opened up enrollment for people who aren't previous campers.

I went to that camp from intermediate into high school. It was a great experience.

I had the opportunity to come back and be a counselor my first year in College.

One of the professors that worked with the program ended up being on my graduate committee very many years later.

Overall an awesome opportunity.

Do you mind me asking what you do now?

Generally, I stare at Excell for about 2500 hours a year.

We're in the agricultural industry. I wear a lot of hats, but I handle all analytical/quantitative aspects of account management/planning/forecasting/budgeting for our largest account. My manager liaises with our customer's buyer/merchant and I handle all the technical aspects.
