This is the correct answer. Slept off the worst hangover of my life the first day of school one year when I stupidly decided to attempt making it to class.

Upper floors of Evans are nice and quiet, but the couches are too short. I vote for Rudder because they have those flat couches - whatever they're called, where the talls can just hang their feet off a bit.

there used to be these sunken rooms on the second floor of evans that seemed to be made for napping....but i think they were re-purposed sometime in the late 90s.

A million times "yes". All those couches on the bottom floor around the theater entry were the best back in the day. Pretty sure that's the reason behind my bad grades.

Still not sure how the hell this worked or started.

I was always a fan of a spot that was on the 3rd floor of Rudder I think. There was a random little spot that I don't think really led to anywhere. You had to walk up the stairs by the auditorium and then turn left at the top. There were only 2-3 couches and most were never occupied. No people walking around either like in the 2nd floor area. I wasn't a fan of the change to the slightly padded benches though.

2nd floor of MSC above the old hotel desk was pretty decent too. Also fewer coaches so fewer people usually around.

Evans had these long grey couches on the higher floors with removable cushions. I took some amazing naps on those.

In my office at the MSC Browsing Library.

Me too. Did these sunken rooms serve any other purpose than sleeping? Not for me they didn't.

Rudder Coaches are great.. Kleburg chairs are pretty good too.

One time, I was trying to nap on a Rudder Coach but could'nt sleep due to stress from a final & being cracked out on vyvvanse. I must have really looked like shiz bc a janitor came up to me, shook my hand and said, "It's going to be alright". I'll never forget that.
