How often do you have to reboot your AT&T Uverse DVR?

I get to reboot mine almost everyday. If you like sucky cable equipment and enjoy long waits on hold and scheduling repair men out to your house I highly recommend AT&T uverse. It's the way to go!

when I had it I don't ever remember having to do it. try to swap dvrs with them

I had the same dish dvr for 6 years and never had to reset it. Sounds like some crap equipment.

Was having this issue, called and they sent me a new one next day. Of course you loose all your recordings, but the POS had just deleted everything a couple days before.

Yeah we had issues with our first one as well. The replacement has worked fine.

Got uVerse not that long ago... Was having an array of problems.... They sent a guy out and he re-wired some stuff and I haven't had a problem since.

We maybe have to turn off and on one of our boxes once a month... but it only takes a second and then its fine again. Only problem we've had at all.

Have had U-Verse for years and only had to reset both boxes a grand total of 2 times.

I had the grey Motorola DVR with U-Verse for maybe two years. The problem they wouldn't disclose is once that particular model of DVR reaches about 80% capacity, it craps out and needs to be reboot or at worse case (mine) replaced. After taking about a week to diagnose the problem, AT&T had a technician come out and replace the DVR with a newer (black) model. Have only had one instance in the past two years where I've had to reboot, but that was caused by a power surge.

I had 4 of mine give the red X signal of death in the 3 years I had Uverse.

Dislike AT&T. But it's the lesser of the evils in my book.

I used to be able to reboot myself several times a time, but now I'm married 10 years and in my 30s and I'm lucky to reboot 2-3 times a week

Uverse customer service is the worst. I have lost phone, TV and Internet today, earliest a technician might be able to come by is Tuesday.
