First off, the fault is mine for not making sure my yard was escape proof.

But you ran my best friend over and left him to die in the street. I don't know how long he laid there bleeding but I am waiting in the lobby of the vet waiting to hear whether there is going to be a tomorrow for my Dewey. And I'll never know who you are but I have faith that there will be a lesson for you to learn one day from the empty way you live. I forgive you and hope that you eventually join the human race.

As for me, well, still waiting to hear the test results. I'll update for whether "new puppy" jokes will be necessary.



Please pull through, Dewey. I don't remember life without you with me.

First and foremost I am very very very sorry. I cannot imagine the tears I would shed if my Penny was in the same position.

That being said, and I know I am a terrible person but, the first thing that popped into my head was a Dewey defeats Truman reference.
