I think if you cut your ears off you would still be able to hear him....although, it may be more annoying b/c I imagine that clarity of sound would be sacrificed - since you no longer had cartilidge on the side of your face....but I'm not entirely sure.

Mr G - thank you! You're right, the bass is his voice would still be able to vibrate my innards, therefore making it just THAT MORE ANNOYING! I don't even like hearing peoples car bass.
