I'm planning a wedding in May of next year and I've been searching for a venue for our rehearsal dinner either in Bryan or College Station. Our wedding will be at the Greenbranch in Bryan.

I want an environment that's more social/party -ish. Something that's not a "Show up. Eat dinner. Leave." type environment. The fiance's family is coming from out of town and I think it would be a good idea for them to socialize and bond with my family before the wedding day. Basically, a room with a little space. Not a cramped restaurant.

Any and ALL ideas/reviews welcome!

Had mine at buppy's catering location in Bryan on their patio. We had a crawfish boil/fish fry. Byob

Could also go with the banquet room at Caffe Capri in downtown Bryan

we rented out SquareOne before that charlie mack dude bought it and burned all his remodel money on pot.

As long as there are hookers and blow, what else matters?

J Cody's on College has a large dining room and awesome BBQ.

Murphy's Law in downtown Bryan has an upstairs that can be booked for events

Messina Hof should be able to accommodate, they have a few rooms you could use.

btw, I hope you don't mind that I will be crashing your wedding

Madden's in downtown Bryan. My rehearsal dinner was his 1st event in this location. If you have guests staying at the LaSalle it's right across the street.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Caffe Capri back in 09. The big room upstairs was nice and everyone complimented the food. The only drawback was that the stairs werr very steep so some grandparents with hip/knee problems weren't able to attend.
