I don't care if other people smoke or not as long as they're obeying the rules of those who own the property they're currently standing on. I'd prefer them to not blow the smoke in my face, but I'd prefer anyone with bad breath to not exhale in my face.

Smokers raise the cost of insurance for many with group coverage.

1/3 of all cancers and 75% of lung cancer cases are attributed to smoking. So they are a drain on the healthcare system. Imagine if 75% of oncologists could focus on other cancers, or specialize in other areas besides oncology?

We have smokers that take a break every hour. Multiply all the smoke breaks in America by the time they took and figure their hourly rate. That is the cost in lost man-hours.

All while they are increasing the cost of insurance for your organization.
