Wrongo, my friend. The wedding is all about the bride. If it was about God, JPs wouldn't have the privilege of conducting the exact same ceremony.

On the plus side, you could get snot-slinging kdrunk at the reception, make a pass at the groom's wheelchair-bound grandmother, and it still wouldn't be one-tenth as awkward as this sheet.

Priest did the right thing. Stupid papparazzi have no class.

I do think weddings are a religious occasion, but I think God is just fine with wedding photography. I don't, however, think He's okay with one of his ministers being a dewsh to people doing their job. Some godly love ya got there!

At least 1 out of 3 weddings I've been to the photographer, videographer or priest got into it. Immediately watched the reaction on the bride's face as her perfect day is ruined.

secret service guy is probably one of the groom's good friends who got wait listed for groomsman and made an usher. Biggest slap in the face during the course of a friendship imho.

I count 9 bridesmaids. He was likely a bum off the street unless the groom started man dating before the wedding.

Seems as though the photographers and hte priest should have talked before the service to find out what was acceptable and what wasn't. I've always found out what was expected of me before shooting a wedding. I do not think that being in the middle of alter behind the priest is acceptable. Its distracting to the guest, to the officiant and to the couple getting married. I think both the photographers and the priest were in the wrong but the priest handled it all wrong.

On a different thread about this, it was noted that the minister showed up really late. The photographers wanted to talk to him, but couldn't because of his tardiness.

If the guy was going to be snippy about it, he should have set some ground rules before hand.

The pastor did make it awkward, but I agree that photographers are annoying as crap in some weddings. Get a fast zoom lens you lolpoor.

Good for you. I personally think photographers (at the brides instruction I'm sure) have gone a little over board. The whole time during the ceremony they are running all over the place click click clicking.

I'm one of the few who enjoys hearing the message. It's very distracting and takes away from the actual moment of getting married.

Kind of like how all people do now when they see the most breath taking scenes on earth is whip out their phone and take a ton of pictures. Can we not just take things in any more and live the moment?
