A friend scored a 156 on his USMC GCT in 1977. Does that qualify him for Mensa? This website only lists Army GCT, and at 136 that is surely a different scale than the one he took for the Marines. Does anyone know definitively? TIA.

Mensa is for people who cannot achieve success, so they settle for being able to say that they are smarter than those who did achieve it.

Probably going to be based off the Naval score requirement, but that's just a guess.

MENSA qualifying test scores aren't that hard to get. At least it seems that way based on some of the membership.

Seriously, I just went and checked, and the old 1600 point scale SAT only requires a 1250 on any single test for admission. I'd say a full 1/3 of Aggies that took the SAT cleared that bar with ease.

Most of the IQ tests are in the very low 130s.

I think the ACT score was 29. Again, lots of Aggies would pass that hurdle.
