I'd normally say aerospace, but recently I've met a supposed aerospace engineer and she is pretty dumb...

Having lived with chem es all through college, their curriculum definitely seemed harder than my ME one. But I was a lot more handy than them and make just as good or better money than them.

My nuke roommate fish year was pretty damn smart.

That is such an incorrect stereotype that people with crap degrees tell themselves so they can feel better. I know plenty of engineers and even married one and they've all been social.

The ones that got out of engineering.

It's not like it takes a MENSA member to be an engineer. Anyone with an IQ in the 120s or above can hack it. My problem was that engineering and adult ADD don't mix well.

EEs or Computer Engineers.

The ones who realize there is typically a hierarchy of codes and standards applicable to their industry and part of the world in which they perform engineering services. The ones with solid logic and reasoning skills who are able to take nearly any problem, break it into the smallest pieces and kick it in the a$$ in a reasonable period of time. The ones who realize the boundaries of their own discipline and the interfaces with the others.

The dumbest? See mechanical guys post. The ones who believe they can do everyone's job, but rarely even do their own well.

Clearly the correct answer is electrical.

ADD is a bad excuse.

ID isnt an engineer major...sorry.

I say Mechanical Engineers because they're usually the most handy. Civil engineers set everything equal to zero.
