The 'green sauce' in New Braunfels is either Tomatillo or Avocado based. Human should not be blamed for his ignorance of what 'hot' green sauce tastes like.

I make a tomatillo based green sauce that's hot. 1 Serrano per 2 tomatillos plus 1 habanero for every 6 tomatillos will give sufficient heat

avacados are for guac and dips, not salsas

HEB's recipe is to mix 1/2 of the jar with a packet of Ranch Seasoning, and a cup of sour cream.

Spicy ranch dip!

Someone made some at the Super Bowl party I was at, and man, was it YUM!

That HEB stuff is awful. We threw it away.
