Does anyone know where I can buy an empty keg shell in Houston? My brother-in-law owns a gym and wants to use them in his workouts. Looking to pick one up as a Xmas present.

1) Buy a keg from specs
2) Drink said keg
3) Give him the empty keg
4) Do not return keg shell so you do not get the deposit back

OR

go look on craigslist.

Had the same prob when I was looking for homebrew kettles. They're hard to find them empty unless you know a bar owner or such. AB and the other large breweries cracked down on sales a couple years back when scrap prices went up (they technically own them). Best bet is to get a couple full ones from the grocery store and throw a party.

4) Let him know that it is his after

There's a house on Milam st behind north gate that had 3 of them in the backyard about 5 years ago. I left them. Go check. 2103 was the address I think.
