Does anyone know how to get a decal to stick to the top of a yeti cooler? The surface is rough and they won't stick at all. We're giving them out to clients this Christmas and we would like to put our logo on the top.

You could probably use concrete anchor bolts.

Call Yeti and have them flame the logo on for you?

The surest method is to put it in your Big Green Egg for 4 hours to get the adhesive to stick.

This can be dangerous so make sure you wear your Costas to protect your eyes.

Just stick them on with some chewing gum, since whatever you do won't last more than a few uses anyway.

Won't the decal look all distorted?

A very small thermonuclear reaction could fuse the decal to the Yeti, although Yeti fanboys don't believe a Yeti can be harmed by known physics.

Yeti will only sell you custom logo coolers in quantities of 15 or more. They use a company called Mold-In Graphics that is a permanent logo solution. The graphic is applied and hit with a shrink wrap gun for heat and then its all done. You can cut out yeti by going directly to Mold-In Graphics, but they also have a minimum order for logo screening and template design, etc. They can be used on many plastic products and has a shelf life of about 7 years, but they are definitely not stickers.

this is why you guys make the big bucks. I would have just suggested duct tape.

Another option would be to use double sided tape just to hold your sticker in place, then dip the whole cooler in clear epoxy resin. You may not be able to open the cooler, and you'll double the 45 pound weight, but at least your company logo will be on there for good.

I would be more worried that they gamble so much you need to bring in a cooler to begin with!

I could make you a custom branding iron on the cnc machine and then you could burn them in.

Does anyone have any additional experience on this? We are looking at getting approx 10 coolers with our logo on them in the Dfw area.

Yeti is not taking any additional custom orders this year as they are trying to build inventories back up.

Also talked with the folks at Mold in graphics and they will sell the graphic, but we would have to burn them into the cooler ourselves. Doesn't sounds too complicated, but with the cost of the coolers, don't really want to be experimenting.

Looking for a company in the metroplex that can produce and install the logo inhouse.

We are trying to stay away from the vinyl decal option.

Apply the decal to white plexiglass, trim to size and attach the plexiglass to the cooler with a construction adhesive.

Get plaques and rivet them on, saw one from a client like this at work

the best way i get decals to stick on my yetis is to not buy a yeti

Yeti coolers, Green Eggs and Costas are status symbols. "Hey look! I can pay a lot of money for cooler that will likely be moved straight from my garage to my truck and back to my garage and never come near a bear!"
