Used to be a good hole in the wall mexican place downtown. I think it burned down though.

Also used to be great Catfish place on way towards Dallas on 287 I think. It burned down.

Pioneer has a few restaurants. Not bad. Good chicken fried steak.

Or drive to Stephenville and go to the Hard 8.

Also, Pasqual's in Parker Square at the intersection of Kemp and Kell has great food and a good little bar area.

Oh, and Parkway Grill on Southwest Parkway is the greatest sports bar in the history of ever. Big, frosty beers, at least 73,000 TVs, and the best wings I've ever had.

Gene's is one of the best burgers Ive ever had anywhere. Very unique taste.

Your mention of Parker Square reminds me of the English Pharmacy there. Had a grill in back. Made a good burger.

Great burger town. Bubba's. There was also a place, I think called Franks, on Jacksboro highway near Holiday st.

No, this place was further down, in direction of all those car lots. My grandma lived in 23rd and it was that way. Scotts was near where I lived on Norman.

Yes, but they did rebuild.

Gene's is not what it once was, but still a good burger and a landmark in WF. It was my grandfather's, who is no longer with us, favorite so it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Uncle Lynn's did indeed burn down some time ago. Everyone in WF drives up to Waurika to eat at Bill's Catfish. Better than Uncle Lynn's was, but Uncle Lynn's was a lot closer and a nicer place.
