here's the situation....I had three cousins all apply to A&M for next fall, two of them got in, and the third did not. this third cousin, had the same grades as the other two, but had a slightly better SAT score than the other two.
she got a letter saying she didnt get in, but was welcome to try for the standby list, and was also welcome to try and become part of the blinn/A&M program.
anyone know what kinda chances she stands for either the standby or the co-enrolled? How many students per year are let in on this basis? And when A&M sends out rejection letters , do they send two kinds of rejections out, one saying completely rejected, and the other offering the shot at standby and coenrollment? how does this work?
