They are the best and know it.

Coast Guard...because even during peace time, they are battling the enenmy. Plus i like boats and living on the coast.

I almost signed a contract to be a commissioned officer in the USAF when I was in the Corps. I joined my outfit as a D&C cadet, but became familiar with the USAF through my ROTC courses and training. I like their style, and there are countless ways to serve in the USAF.
Had I gone through with my commission, I'd be a 1LT right now....and possibly in Afghanistan....

Salvation Army, I like ringing bells.
I know a lot of people who "woulda shoulda coulda". Hopefully they don't regret it too much...It's truly an experience.

The Marines.
They are the best. Also, my father, uncle, and hubby were all Marines so it runs in my blood.
However, ALL branches of the military are worthy of praise right now.

Air Force ...can't beat the treatment.
If not the USAF, I'd consider the Army if I could serve with the 7th Cavalry.

Air Force. Been contemplating it for a while now. I have a little over a year to go till I graduate, but hopefully I'll have made my decision within about 6 months.

None...I am definitely not cut out to be in the military.

They didn't offer me any college money, job experience, etc... They just said "If you want to be one, join. If not, it's not worth the trouble." For some reason that appealed to me.

I'd choose that branch for family reasons. My grandpa was in the Navy and was on the USS Nevada at Pearl Harbor, the USS Lexington at Coral Sea, and also had a smaller ship blown out from underneath him in the Atlantic.

United States Army. My brother is in the Army Reserves, my dad was a career officer, and his dad was an Army MP. And my other granddaddy was in the Army Air Corps - radio gunner on a flying fortress. I think I'd want to fly helicopters, if I had my druthers.
Just FYI, I was on my way to Marine Corps OCS but Colonel Christmas (not making that up) called my OSO and said that I was part of the last cut . . . reason: medical (eyesight).
Why? My dad served in the USMCR and two of his brothers served as Marines. A Marine was something I always wanted to be . . . I was never coerced to join, but it was my choice to pursue.

Best treatment of their troops of all services, and my Grandfather and both parents served in the Air Force...Had to keep the Family tradition going!
Oh yeah, lots of travelling, by air and I dont have to eat mud for dinner on an FTX

...all the same size room too ...nothing beats having 4 closets to yourself! It was great.

The ROTC program here at A&M is probably the best in the nation. The only other school that compare to us West Point. They get first dibs on everything. I'm trying to get my scholarship right now.

I'm hoping that if I get into law school, I can try out the Army JAG Internship Program. It looks cool.
The only thing is basic training. I'm going to a gym and having a personal trainer help me make me fit so I can survive it.

Marines or Navy, being of Greek heritage I just love the water. btw if not for my eyesight I would have liked to have been a Naval Aviator.
I think the "Greek" side of you would prefer the Navy.
