I wouldn't say that's a frat boy look. I work in construction and most project managers I know wear that to job sites all the time. Hell, I'm wearing a button down Polo shirt with Wranglers and Red Wings right now and do quite often. On days I don't go to the job site it's slacks and johnson and murphys.

Most frat boys own a pair. Especially the yonger ones.

Older ones tend to have nicer boots.

There was a frat at UT (I think KA) that actually required their pledges to own a pair of red wings...this was a few years ago.
