Here and there I keep catching snipets of people mentioning a connection between Zach Morris and A&M. Whats with that?

did he really or was it just a rumor. because, i was here when the stuff was flying around but it was only like 2 years ago and that would have been all over the battalion.

He died in a car wreck on Wellborn.

Yup, and Rip Torn's kids... Crash Bang and Boom Smash were both yell leaders too. I think it was at the same time.

AC Slater wanted to come to A&M too but we already had our partial qualifier per Big 12 standards.

Exactly...we need to clear this up. Someone bring us some evidence either way.

As I entered A&M, 1993, Saved by the Bell was winding down. (Pre Saved by the Bell - College Years) It was a pretty widespread rumor, reaching Urban Legend status. There were girls in my Fish Camp that had "confirmation" he was in our session. Never happened.

He was there...Did you not see him?

So it is just an Urban legend...

He did indeed attend A&M, where he roomed with Anne Rice and Snoop Dogg. They used to party with Jennifer Love Hewitt and the President of Guatemala. This unsung effort at true diversity occurred many years before Gates' arrival on campus but has gone largely unheralded as Zach's star stock plummeted.

I heard the same rumors when i was there 94-98. He was ON HIS WAY and was gonna live at University Towers his first year. Oh but then they got the deal to do the College Years gig.

Heard another one lately that said he was goin to grad school here though

I was told that he was enrolled for my fish camp (same summer as Fleen's) but never came b/c of the College Years.

Wyatt from Wierd Science is a prof at A&M.

Ilan Mitchell Smith is the guys name from Weird Science. There was a rumor at A&M going around when I was there that Christina Applegate was a student at A&M.

Actually, I thought the ET kid, Henry Thomas, went to Rice and had a girlfriend that went to A&M. I worked with a guy at Camelot Music in Post Oak Mall who went to high school with Henry Thomas and was friends with him. A couple of times Henry came into the music store, I met him, seemed like a real nice guy. I don't recall him saying or this guy I worked with saying that he went to A&M. He might have, but I thought he went to Rice and just came up to B/CS to see his girl.

I heard that Zach Morris used to lurk around in the steam tunnels.

I heard Screech had been locked at the top of Albritton Tower for eternity by an angry A.C. Slater.

I heard that Zach never applied nor attended A&M.

I also heard that Slater applied, but he didn't get in because he applied the year after affirmative action was outlawed. We could have really used him on our wrestling team.

my last day at A&M i went into the steam tunnels... I only saw a few piles of bones and it was very hot so we left

ap, maybe I had it reversed, Thomas was the Ag, his girlfriend went to Rice.

A while back when I used to work on campus I looked up mark Paul Gossler (or whatever his name was) and he has never attended Texas A&M (or at least not since 1981 when the system was started). So it is just an Urban Legend of the most enduring kind.

Henry Thomas attended Blinn, not A&M, and lived in some apartments on Holleman near 2818. I forget the name of the apartments - Walden Pond maybe? It's been a while. A good friend of mine lived two doors down from him and I met him a couple of times when my friend was throwing keg parties. Nice guy. I think he left college when it looked like his movie career was picking up again. This would have been around the time of 'Legends of the Fall.'

I was at a party one time just hanging out and my friend comes up to me and tells me that Michael from Barney is here. (Michael was the little blonde kid on Barney in the mid 90s). So i kinda just wander outside and here's this kid having a beer, smoking, and having a dip all at the same time, but sure enough, it was him.

Chip, I'll confirm he might have been in CS as he was friends with a firiend of ours fiancee. (That sounds convincing) He was at their wedding and we all hung out after the wedding at the hotel. He made an obscene amount of money from that show.
