He's also Sissy Spacek's uncle.

He went to A&M for a year or two. We looked him up in my dad's Aggieland at Christmas (or it may have been the Longhorn - can you believe A&M's yearbook being called the Longhorn). Then he transferred to t.u. His dad, uncles, cousins and I think a brother or two all graduated from A&M.

Also, the girl who did the voice of Rainbow Brite on the cartoons was Aggie class of '84.

By the way, Buddy Lembeck was a classic character...Willie Aames, who was also in Eight is Enough. He has to be in the "Annoying Best Friend of the Main Character" Hall of Fame, along with Eddie Haskell, Dudley from Different Strokes, Boner from Growing Pains, and Potsie Webber from Happy Days.

His dad was the yell leader. He was also known as Rip which is how the actor got his nickname. He (the actor) did not graduate from A&M. I thought it was a shame that the Texas Aggie made it sound like he did.
