I hope you got it open ok. An 02 Tahoe is one of the easiest cars to unlock, with tools. A coat hanger won't open crap anymore, it will bend before it unlocks. And don't listen to Burnt, Fords are hard as he'll to open!

Scimitar, your idea wont work for a Chevy. A Ford you can pull HARD on the handle and it will open but not any other american car. Any German made car you have to pull the handle twice with a quickness.

As for the unlock button, goodluck with that one. Assumeing it DOES unlock it, you would have to push hard and a hanger will bend under that much pressure.

P.S. As for the Tahoe, remember that on that model you have to PUSH the actual lock. Took me a few days to remember that because most cars are pull locks.
