I heard this on the radio the other day, but forgot who was the original choice. The story went that the creator called (whoever) and he didn't answer the phone, so he called George Foreman, who immediately agreed.

Does anybody know who the original guy was? tia

It was Hulk Hogen and the story was that him and Foreman have the same agent and he offered Hulk the grill and some sports thing. Hulk choose the sports thing and the agent then offered the grill to Foreman. Hulk does'nt know best
