Whiskey & sprite, 7&7 whatever you want to call it. You get more of the whiskey taste. Or you could switch to scotch on the rocks.

The Jose black tequila goes just fine with coke. It's pretty good actually.

The Old Fashioned

It is possibly the first ever cocktail - but is certainly one of the 6 original cocktails.

It has whiskey, and you still get the delicious flavor of whiskey, it still has a bit of sweetness to it, but the flavor of the whiskey hasn't been drowned out by coke and too much sugary sweetness. The recipe is on Wikipedia.

I drink 'em all the time, and they're delicious.

One of best friends drinks tequila and diet coke. She named it a TDC. I quit making fun of her so much after that Jose black came out.
