This morning I packed his lunch, and wrote his name on the paper sack, and added a few toys and snacks to his little backpack.
He whimpered a little bit on the drive over to the day care. He seemed a little scared when we went into the house, but the fear seemed to wear off as he checked out all the different rooms and said hello to an older girl that was spending the day there as well.
I talked with the practitioner for a few minutes and when I got up to leave he got upset. The practitioner held him as I went to the door and he started crying. I went out the door and he ran up to it and jumped at the door and looked sadly out the window as I headed for the car.
He was still watching out the window as I pulled out of the driveway.

Does it ever get any easier when you drop them off?
